Bella and I will have front row seats, ahem that's our sofa bed in the lounge, to see who will be crowned best in show this year and I'm keeping my paws crossed that this year it's a Collie (Bella is secretly hoping it's a Poodle!). We have oodles of gravy bones, munchy rolls and squeaky balls at the ready to accompany our viewing and I have no doubts that Bella will be studying the agility competitors in minute detail.
The show's running from the 5-8 March at the NEC in Birmingham, I think I'm most excited about the Friday group which is the working and pastoral breeds!
I'm told this year that there are 22,000 dogs competing over the 4 days, how they manage to judge so many is mind boggling, I just wish I could go down there and view it all with my own eyes, I would love to strut round the ring but unless they have a group for us Golden Oldies then I don't think I'd stand much of a chance.
There is a Scruffts class for crossbreeds which I think Bella would enjoy but it looks as though she has missed her chance for Crufts 2015, so maybe a challenge for next year (keep a look out for future posts.
