I am a home educating mum of 2 living in the Northwest of England. I long to travel with my family (including the fluffs) to see the world and have amazing adventures, because life is too short to worry about paying off a mortgage!

The Greatest Dog Show - Crufts 2015

Image result for crufts 2015 logo

It's that time of year again and Crufts 2015 is nearly upon us, the dog world is in furious preening and practising mode ready for the show and I can't wait to watch (albeit from home sadly).
Bella and I will have front row seats, ahem that's our sofa bed in the lounge, to see who will be crowned best in show this year and I'm keeping my paws crossed that this year it's a Collie (Bella is secretly hoping it's a Poodle!). We have oodles of gravy bones, munchy rolls and squeaky balls at the ready to accompany our viewing and I have no doubts that Bella will be studying the agility competitors in minute detail.

The show's running from the 5-8 March at the NEC in Birmingham, I think I'm most excited about the Friday group which is the working and pastoral breeds!

I'm told this year that there are 22,000 dogs competing over the 4 days, how they manage to judge so many is mind boggling, I just wish I could go down there and view it all with my own eyes, I would love to strut round the ring but unless they have a group for us Golden Oldies then I don't think I'd stand much of a chance.

There is a Scruffts class for crossbreeds which I think Bella would enjoy but it looks as though she has missed her chance for Crufts 2015, so maybe a challenge for next year (keep a look out for future posts.

If you fancy a grand doggie day out then tickets are on sale now just click the link below, I guarantee you'll have a great day, the shopping is brilliant and of course you get to see hundreds of fabulously sleek and styled pooches, it's the catwalk of dogs!

A New Direction (and a new addition!)

So, it's been a while and it's with a sad, droopy tail that I have to announce the closure of Little Fluff Pet Supplies. After family additions (some furry some not) and increased online competition my product testing days are *sniff* over.
It's been a great ride, but I too am entering the Golden Age at the ripe old age of 13 this year, so it is with excitement that I get to share my twilight years with my new partner in crime Bella.

This is Bella at 8 weeks.

Bella is a Yorkshire Terrier, Toy Poodle X or Yorkie-Poo (in some circles I've been told using the term Yorkie-Poo is frowned upon, why I don't know as technically this is exactly what she is). Anyway Bella has just turned 1 now, she is studying Agility and is currently on the beginner's level and she is as friendly as they get.
We've bonded so well, we snuggle up at night, play great tug games during the day and chase birds out of the garden together, and sometimes we also get to cosy up on our special sofa cover in the lounge of an evening, life's grand.

So the Little Fluff blog and name will live on for now, even if its future path is still a little hazy, so I look forward to sharing the reins with our new little fluffball Bella who will no doubt love writing some articles on her agility adventure.
